Job summary

McLean Affiliates in Simsbury, CT seeks a Lead Server to provide attentive dining service to residents and guests while coordinating daily dining room operations. You will lead Dining Ambassadors, assist with training and workflow, and ensure accurate records in a resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism when handling resident concerns or service disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, personalized service to residents and guests, including taking and entering orders, serving meals and beverages, monitoring tables, and responding to resident needs.
• Assist with takeout, meal delivery, special events/catering, holiday meals, and other dining functions.
• Coordinate service flow and staff assignments and act as the primary dining-room resource when assigned.
• Train and support Servers and Dining Ambassadors and reinforce service standards.
