Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Lead Server to support dining room operations, provide excellent meal service, and help train new servers. You’ll ensure a welcoming, organized dining experience for residents and guests, with a focus on safety and hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of previous fine dining experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
• Able to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide proper dining room setup, meal service, and dining room cleanliness.
• Take meal and beverage orders and serve meals in a friendly, timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials and menu items and explain offerings to residents and guests.
• Maintain tables and surrounding areas in a clean, organized, ready state.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Support servers with day-to-day dining room operations.
• Assist with orientation and training of new servers.
• Practice safety, sanitation, and loss prevention procedures.
