Job summary
GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Digital Metrology Programmer to drive development, validation, and standardization of advanced digital inspection methods across blue light, laser, CT, and related 3D analysis technologies.
This role translates complex product requirements into robust inspection strategies, analyzes dimensional data, troubleshoots measurement processes, and advances the organization’s digital metrology capability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Associate degree or equivalent technical experience; or HS diploma with 2+ years.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and validation of digital metrology programs across 3D inspection technologies.
- Translate GD&T and engineering requirements into repeatable inspection methods.
- Analyze scan data and generate reports for cross-functional teams.
- Serve as escalation point for digital inspection equipment and workflows in production.
- Develop standard work, documentation, and training materials for metrology processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality and engineering to mature metrology capabilities.
- Support automation, robotic inspection integration, and workflow optimization where applicable.
