Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Louisville, KY, seeks a Senior Metrology Engineer to lead metrology, measurement systems, and GD&T across NPI and production. You will partner with Product Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, and suppliers to launch robust measurement capabilities while enabling production teams to own quality at launch.

You will drive ADS deployment, GD&T standards, and digital metrology tools, mentor teams, and ensure measurement solutions align with cost and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or higher.
• Experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Leadership and effective communication in design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Self-starter, metric-driven, cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding of GEA drawings and GD&T basics.
• Excellent project tracking and planning skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead metrology, dimensional quality, and GD&T across NPI and production.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to launch new parts and processes.
• Ensure ownership of measurement and quality at production launch.
• Drive ADS deployment and expand digital metrology capabilities.
• Mentor teams and improve measurement systems across product lines.
