Job summary

GE Vernova Gas Power in Greenville, SC seeks a Lead Digital Metrology Programmer to lead digital inspection programs across blue light, laser, CT, and 3D analysis. You will translate requirements into robust inspection methods, analyze dimensional data, and troubleshoot measurement processes in a production setting.

The role requires on-site work, strong GD&T knowledge, and experience with GOM/ATOS Inspect and ATOS sensors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Associate or Machinist Apprentice graduate, or high school diploma with 2 years of equivalent technical experience.
Minimum 4+ years in digital inspection, metrology, manufacturing or quality engineering.
Minimum 3 years hands-on programming with GOM/Zeiss Inspect and ATOS sensors.

Responsibilities

Lead development and continuous improvement of digital metrology programs using 3D scanning and CT inspection.
Translate GD&T and engineering requirements into repeatable digital inspection methods.
Analyze scan/point cloud/mesh data to identify trends, risks, and quality concerns; report findings clearly.
Serve as escalation point for digital inspection equipment and workflows in production.
Develop standard work and training materials to improve program execution and operator capability.
Collaborate with engineers and operators to mature digital metrology capabilities and safety.
Support automation, robotic inspection integration, fixture validation, and workflow improvements.
