Job summary

Qualifications

• CDM certification required or willing to obtain
• ServSafe certification within 30 days or sooner
• 1+ year of experience as Dietary Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the dietary department in accordance with company policies and regulations
• Ensure food quality, inventory control, food safety, and strong customer service
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment; provide reports to the Administrator
• Hire, schedule, evaluate, and discipline dietary staff
• Train new employees and monitor performance; provide coverage as needed
• Serve as liaison between residents, staff, admins, and management
• Coordinate training and quality control checks using relevant documentation
