Job summary

Cox Fleet in the Orlando area is seeking a Lead Shop Diesel Technician to oversee diesel repair operations, perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced diagnostics on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a shop setting.

You will mentor a team of Technicians, collaborate with management, ensure safety compliance, document findings on RO using company systems, and occasionally travel to on-site customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required with significant experience.
• ASE certifications related to diesel equipment are desirable.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and scheduled PMs on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with Shop Manager on workflow.
• Document findings on Repair Orders with accuracy using company systems.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the shop environment.
