Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II in Orlando, FL to support our growing team. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, PM inspections, and light to heavy repairs, with advanced diagnostics under supervision. This role offers on-site work in a fast-paced fleet service environment.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with ability to perform DOT inspections.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and light-to-heavy repairs.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with DOT, EPA and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and service bulletins.
• Must be able to document work accurately and communicate with the shop team.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium, and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Service Writer to assess customer needs and estimates.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and manage tools and parts.
• Complete DOT forms and repair orders promptly and accurately.
• Support Shop Diesel Technician I and other team members as needed.
