Job summary

KBR is seeking an IT Lead – DevSecOps Engineer to guide security-focused software delivery across enterprise pipelines. You will own governance, modernization, and secure CI/CD implementations using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, OpenShift, and Sonatype tooling.

You will mentor teams, drive migrations, and establish standards that reduce risk while enabling rapid, compliant software delivery for government and commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 7 years in DevOps/DevSecOps, software engineering, or related fields.
• At least 2 years in a technical lead, architect, or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience leading enterprise repository migrations and CI/CD transformations.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes and cloud environments (Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead secure CI/CD design and implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Establish enterprise code quality and security standards with SonarQube and Fortify.
• Govern DevSecOps with policies, gates, and compliance controls.
• Mentor engineering and DevOps teams on secure development practices.
• Drive migrations between development platforms and modernization of pipelines.
