Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform engineer to advance a large-scale cloud-native eCommerce platform for a major US retailer. You will optimize CI/CD pipelines, advance infrastructure as code, and strengthen security across Kubernetes-based microservices while guiding architectural choices.

The role focuses on Azure environments, automation, observability, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable software quickly.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Strong Kubernetes experience in production environments.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Experience with container runtimes (Docker/Podman).
• Scripting proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud-native setups.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and driving improvements.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to drive cross-team improvements and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Improve and standardize CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams.
• Optimize build, test, and deployment processes for faster delivery.
• Enhance Infrastructure as Code practices and maintain pipelines as code.
• Improve observability, reliability, and scalability of a cloud-native platform.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve operational processes.
• Participate in architectural decisions and ongoing platform evolution.
• Contribute to pre-sales and technical consulting when required.

The current focus is on:- CI/CD process optimization and standardization- Infrastructure improvement and operational maturity- Security hardening and compliance- Performance, reliability and scalability improvements- Continuous modernization of the cloud-native platform

Responsibilities
