We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team focused on modernizing enterprise software delivery processes and strengthening DevSecOps practices.

Length: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions and guide adoption of enterprise-level DevSecOps standards.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Drive hybrid cloud initiatives with Azure and AWS, including containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
• Implement security-first development practices using tools such as Checkmarx and SonarQube.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Mentor engineers, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support enterprise monitoring and artifact management solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps or related engineering experience.
• Proven track record designing and implementing SDLC frameworks at scale.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
• Hands-on expertise with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chocolaty).
• Proficiency with GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot, and application security tools (Checkmarx, SonarQube).
• Programming/scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or C#.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities in cross-functional engineering environments.
• Must be local to Chicago or open to relocation; onsite work required.
