Job summary

TSC is seeking a Developer Experience & AI Enablement Lead to own and improve enterprise software development processes across Aurora, Arlington, and Huntsville. You will drive secure, standardized workflows, AI-enabled development, and governance across engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and legal teams.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering or related fields, strong cross-functional leadership, and experience in government contracting with SECRET clearance potential.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in software engineering, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or related discipline, including leadership in enterprise process improvement.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical initiatives across teams or units.
• Practical understanding of software architecture, repos, CI/CD, testing, and developer workflows.
• Experience implementing secure software development practices, vulnerability management, SBOMs, and evidence retention.
• Translating policies and risk requirements into practical processes, controls, and workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise tooling (GitHub/GitLab, Jira, Jenkins) and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the enterprise software development operating model, including lifecycle processes and security controls.
• Develop a roadmap to improve consistency, maturity, and developer experience across units.
• Define standardized workflows, repository blueprints, CI/CD frameworks, and reusable engineering patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to align implementations and support adoption.
• Translate cybersecurity policies into practical engineering requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate secure development practices, including code review, SAST/DAST, and dependency management.
• Establish governance for open-source software and third-party dependencies.
• Lead strategy for safely integrating generative AI assistants across the SDLC.
• Define AI guardrails for data access, IP, provenance, and generated code review.
• Develop self-service infrastructure enabling compliant repositories and environments.
• Evaluate and implement developer-experience tooling and AI gateways.
• Maintain roadmaps, milestones, risk logs, and investment proposals for major initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional groups with documented decisions and follow-ups.
• Establish metrics for adoption and delivery performance to guide improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and enablement to engineering teams.
