Job summary

Technology Service Corporation Defense Services seeks a Developer Experience & AI Enablement Lead to drive enterprise software development standards and secure AI-enabled development capabilities across business units. The role partners with Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, Legal, and leadership to translate requirements into practical workflows and tools.

You will own the secure development practices, establish standardized workflows, and lead the AI strategy within the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

Eight or more years of software engineering, DevSecOps, or related discipline with leadership experience.
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical initiatives across teams/business units.
Understanding of software architecture, repos, CI/CD, testing, and developer workflows.
Experience implementing secure software development practices including vulnerability management and SBOMs.
Ability to translate policies and risk requirements into practical workflows and criteria.
Familiarity with enterprise tooling such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

Own and improve the enterprise software development operating model, including lifecycle processes, standards, and security controls.
Develop a roadmap to improve consistency, maturity, developer experience, and risk management.
Define standardized golden-path workflows, repository blueprints, and CI/CD frameworks.
Lead adoption across teams with varying tools and maturity levels.
Translate cybersecurity policies into engineering requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate secure development practices including code review, SAST/DAST, and vulnerability management.
Establish governance for open-source software and third-party dependencies.
Lead strategy for safely integrating generative AI and agentic capabilities into the SDLC.
Define guardrails for AI usage related to data access and IP protection.
Develop self-service infrastructure enabling compliant repos and pipelines.
Coordinate evaluations of developer-experience tooling and artifact management.
Maintain roadmaps, milestones, risks, decisions, and investment proposals.
Facilitate cross-functional forums and document decisions and actions.
Establish metrics for adoption and delivery performance to guide improvement.
Provide technical leadership and enablement to engineering teams.
