Job summary

FTAI Aviation Ltd. is seeking a Lead Detail Inspector to oversee the detail inspection team for civil aviation articles in a FAA-regulated repair station.

You will manage preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring data accuracy and on-time delivery of service documentation. The role requires an A&P license, 3–5 years of inspection experience, and strong leadership to train staff and coordinate with Records and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Must possess exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in inspection methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to train and mentor inspectors and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspections of powerplant, aircraft or components and ensure compliance with data and directives.
• Audit inspection paperwork for completeness and deliver finalized documents.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis for nonconformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate receiving inspection of incoming parts and tooling.
