Job summary

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is seeking a Lead Inspector (Aircraft Maintenance / MRO) to oversee and perform inspections in a heavy maintenance environment on widebody aircraft.

The role ensures compliance with FAA regulations and company standards while supporting ongoing maintenance and modifications. Requirements include 4+ years in aircraft inspection or maintenance, FAA A&P license with IA preferred, and US work authorization; widebody experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of aircraft inspection or maintenance experience.
• Widebody aircraft experience required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft inspections during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Lead and support inspection personnel during heavy maintenance operations.
• Inspect aircraft, components, and maintenance work to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
• Review maintenance documentation, work packages, and completed repairs for accuracy and compliance.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, SRMs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to resolve discrepancies and support project completion.
• Conduct return-to-service inspections and verify airworthiness requirements are met.
• Assist in training and mentoring inspection personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
