FTAI Aviation Ltd. is seeking a Lead Detail Inspector to oversee the detail inspection team for civil aviation articles in a FAA-regulated repair station.
You will manage preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring data accuracy and on-time delivery of service documentation. The role requires an A&P license, 3–5 years of inspection experience, and strong leadership to train staff and coordinate with Records and technical teams.

The Lead Detail Inspector(s) are responsible for the direct oversight of the Detail Inspection team, performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, final Inspections, and perform return to service functions on all civil aviation articles received by this repair station in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer's instructions for continued airworthiness, operator technical data, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable and/or approved by the FAA.
Work is performed in a Shop environment and requires the ability to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance . Must be able to bend, stoop, climb to reach materials, and work in a noisy environment.
