Ladders is seeking a Lead Designer, Digital Experience Standards to shape and scale design standards that deliver consistent, high-quality digital experiences across our finance and insurance products. This role partners with cross-functional teams to define reusable patterns, strengthen design judgment through critique and mentorship, and improve how experience quality is measured and communicated.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only; no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of product, system, or web design experience across multiple portfolios.
• Ability to define and document design standards and systems for consistency.
• Fluency with AI coding and prototyping tools like Cursor and Codex.

For our client, we are seeking a Lead Designer, Digital Experience Standards to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape and scale design standards that help deliver consistent, high-quality digital experiences across multiple products and customer touchpoints. The Lead Designer will partner closely with cross-functional teams to define reusable patterns, strengthen design judgment through critique and mentorship, and improve how experience quality is measured and communicated. This is a highly strategic design role focused on bringing clarity, consistency, and measurable impact to the customer journey. The ideal candidate will also help teams adapt standards for emerging interaction models and next-generation design workflows.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $154,600 – $171,500 annually
