Ladders is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. You will shape intuitive digital experiences for consumer-facing applications that balance usability, accessibility, and regulatory requirements, partnering with product owners to translate complex business needs into clear designs.

This role emphasizes rapid prototyping, user research, and strong communication to inform design decisions aligned with user needs and business goals.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in product design, with 2+ years in transactional consumer-facing products in regulated industries.
• Strong ability to collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define complex business requirements.
• Proficient in delivering high-quality Figma mocks and prototypes, including responsive layouts and accessibility standards.
• Experience in UX research and usability testing, translating insights into actionable design decisions.
• Ability to write user-focused UI copy without a dedicated content designer.

Responsibilities

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will focus on shaping intuitive digital experiences for consumer-facing applications that must balance usability, accessibility, and regulatory considerations. You will partner closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clear, effective designs that support strong customer experiences. The work will emphasize rapid prototyping, user research, and thoughtful communication to ensure design decisions reflect both user needs and business goals.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
