ID.me is seeking a Lead Design Systems Designer to shape how our brand is experienced across digital touchpoints and evolving brand systems. You will bridge product design, brand expression, and systems thinking, ensuring the design system reflects the brand while empowering teams to create cohesive, user‑centered experiences.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, developing and maintaining design systems at a senior level.
• Deep knowledge of design theory, systems thinking, and brand expression.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and promoting design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CMO, CEO and design leadership to align brand with the design system.
• Translate abstract brand concepts into practical, reusable components.
• Lead transformation of brand values into scalable design elements.
• Bridge between brand and product teams, balancing emotion and usability.
• Develop governance models and documentation for scalable adoption.
• Lead evolution of the design system across products and platforms.
