HighLevel is seeking a Lead Product Designer, Design Systems to shape the design system behind HighLevel's product experience. You will lead the system used by product teams, designers, and developers across the company and community.

A 7+ year track record in designing complex products and evolving design systems is required. You should embrace AI as central to how you work, mentor teammates, and collaborate with frontend engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant product design experience
• Strong portfolio with system-level case study
• Advanced visual and interaction design craft
• Expert command of design tools and token pipelines
• Deep fluency in front-end development (HTML, CSS)
• Experience designing AI-driven interfaces
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
• Comfort collaborating across time zones and cultures

Responsabilités

• Lead strategy and execution for design system areas
• Define and evolve visual foundations (tokens, theming, typography)
• Design and refine components, patterns and states
• Create primitives, templates and starter kits for AI-assisted builds
• Document rules for AI coding tools and agents to follow
• Collaborate with front-end engineers on APIs and fidelity
• Governance of system with versioning and deprecation
• Guide product teams onto the system and gather feedback
• Stay ahead of design/tech trends and advocate accessibility
• Lead collaboration across time zones in a 100% remote environment
