Job summary

Twin Health is seeking a Principal Design System Designer to define the visual and interactive DNA of its product design system and lay the long-term architectural foundation. You will bridge design, code and AI to translate Figma environments into production code, partnering with engineering and product to drive adoption and measure impact.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience as a system designer.
• Proven track record as a Principal Designer who built or overhauled a design system at scale.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating execution and visual craft with scalable thinking.
• Experience designing scalable systems across Web, iOS and Android with technical constraints.
• Knowledge of WCAG standards and accessible design principles at system level.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize high-impact roadmap items.
• Hands-on with front-end constraints and modern tooling for design-to-code handoff.
• Experience leading complex initiatives and driving cross-functional momentum.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term trajectory and strategic blueprint of Twin Health's product design system.
• Drive rapid iteration and deployment while balancing velocity with architectural integrity.
• Establish and maintain system governance, documentation, and version control.
• Uphold a high bar for visual design and accessibility, creating strong visual direction from scratch.
• Partner with engineering and product to champion adoption and measure impact on quality and velocity.
• Bridge design and engineering using MCP to translate Figma into production code.
• Collaborate across functions, making architectural trade-offs to keep projects moving forward.
