Job summary

Gentle Dental Santa Rosa is seeking a Business Manager to oversee daily office operations, supervise non-clinical staff, and ensure exceptional patient service in a Santa Rosa clinic. The role partners with senior leadership to optimize profitability while maintaining compliance and a positive team culture.

You will supervise scheduling, payroll, billing, and insurance claims, and address patient concerns with empathy.

Qualifications

• Previous dental or healthcare management experience preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate; QSI/Denticon experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain an office environment that ensures optimal patient care and customer service; supervise the office team, training non-clinical staff, monitor hours and timesheets
• Evaluate and review office production and procedures to improve efficiency, patient retention, and profitability
• Analyze and organize office operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll preparation and other administrative duties
• Organize day-to-day operations; schedule staff to support providers and conduct daily huddles
• Collect payments from patients and handle insurance claims in line with policy
• Review production reports to help meet or exceed the office budget each month
• Address patient complaints promptly and professionally; escalate as needed
