You will assist in scheduling, training, and inventory control, while upholding food safety standards in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and strong communication to ensure a top-notch customer experience and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor; strong customer interaction.
• Proven leadership to build and maintain staff, plus understanding of reports and sales goals.
• Focus on detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Food Safety certification; comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organization and planning; prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods; operate deli equipment.
• Assist in hiring, teaching and training the Deli team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality and Deli supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Lead the team to deliver high-quality products and service.
• Assist in hiring, training and developing the Deli staff.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; ensure safety rules.
