Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Fresh Foods Supervisor to direct the deli/food service department and its staff, ensuring merchandising, sales and customer service goals are met. Requires at least 2 years in fresh foods management, passion for food, and strong leadership.

The role includes coaching staff, scheduling, engaging with customers, and maintaining safety and quality across all deli operations. Health and wellness benefits and 401(k) opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a management role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel to meet goals and coordinate with store management.
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule all staff.
• Engage with customers, provide product information and selling suggestions; handle orders and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee deli/food service preparation and merchandising, including recipes and pricing signage.
• Receive merchandise, audit invoices, count inventory, and manage paperwork.
• Operate cash register, process transactions, and verify weights/prices with accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and enforce safety guidelines.
