Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring merchandising, sales and guest service goals are met. The role involves coaching staff, scheduling shifts, and maintaining food safety standards across operations.

The position requires prior fresh food experience, strong leadership, and the ability to handle cash transactions while maintaining high quality customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and communicate with store management.
• On-board, coach and schedule all new team members.
• Provide product information and sales suggestions to guests.
• Oversee deli/food service preparation, merchandising and safety standards.
• Process cash register transactions and ensure accurate pricing.

Education

ServSafe certification (preferred)
