Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Largo, FL to lead complex, classified communication systems programs. You will own contracts spanning hardware and software development, production, and sustainment, guiding cross-functional teams to meet security and mission requirements.

You will align Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain while managing customer engagements, negotiations, and proposals for extensions and new opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience leading hardware and software development programs in aerospace/defense.
• Experience delivering programs using Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated EVMS experience compliant with the EIA 748 standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex, classified communication systems programs to meet contractual, technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Provide program leadership across hardware, software, production, and sustainment activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary PMTs with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, and other functions.
• Establish baselines, performance metrics, and execution controls including EVM and EACs.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and technical challenges to maintain performance.
• Serve as primary customer interface throughout the program lifecycle and manage escalations.
• Lead planning and execution reviews, communicating status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Align resources and priorities with execution requirements and financial commitments.
• Manage contract scope, changes, and modifications with disciplined change control.
• Develop technical and cost proposals for contract modifications and new business opportunities.
• Support and lead contract negotiations within authority.
• Ensure compliance with government contracting, export controls, cybersecurity, and PM processes.
