Job summary

Werner Enterprises seeks a Lead Dedicated Logistics Manager to own account profitability through daily operations, driver management, load planning and customer service ensuring satisfaction. You will supervise personnel, payroll, safety, and fleet maintenance while driving KPI performance for the account.

Oversight includes revenue generation, invoicing, and coordination with billing, risk, safety and maintenance teams to sustain strong financial outcomes and high driver retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing, Management, or Transportation/Logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to two years Dedicated Logistics Manager experience with strong KPI performance required.
• Two to three years customer service experience preferred.
• Two to three years transportation experience preferred.
• One to two years AS400 and PC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee account profitability, revenue generation, invoicing, personnel management and driver turnover.
• Manage load planning, fleet sizing, and on-site customer interaction for the account.
• Supervise office personnel and drivers, with focus on training and retention.
• Ensure safety compliance and coordinate with safety, billing, risk and maintenance teams.
• Review weekly invoicing for accuracy and drive KPI performance improvements.
• Coordinate HR tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and separations and report account data.
