Jobot is seeking a field-based lead installer in the Hampton Roads area to oversee installation projects, read blueprints, and coordinate with office teams and clients. The role emphasizes on-site field work across Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond, with a strong focus on safety and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in structured cabling (Cat5/6, fiber), construction techniques, and solid networking knowledge, plus a valid driver license and reliable vehicle.

Qualificações

• Three years leading installation crews, running projects, reading blueprints, communicating with office team, project team and client.
• Five years installing/troubleshooting structured cabling systems (Cat5/6, Fiber, Patch Panels, 110/66-Blocks, 25-Pairs, Building racks, ladder rack, grounding/bonding)
• Applicable Industry trainings - BICSI Installer/Technician, Panduit, Ortronics or equivalent
• Experience with audio/video and/or security/surveillance is a plus
• Familiarity with construction techniques
• Computer and networking experience
• Own basic industry tools
• Reliable Vehicle with valid driver license
• Professional appearance with friendly, responsive attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Desire to learn and grow
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be versatile
• Ability to pass background check and become DCJS licensed
• Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools while adhering to all the safety protocols.
• Must have applicable experience OR demonstrate very good motivation to learn.
