REV Renewables is seeking a Lead Data Systems Engineer to own the platform’s architecture, data pipelines, core applications, and daily operations. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with technical leadership responsibilities.

You will maintain a production system supporting trade capture, valuation, settlements, position management, and risk analytics, working closely with traders, analysts, developers, and IT to keep the platform reliable and secure.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in production data platforms or trading systems.
• Strong Python skills, time-series processing, dataframe libraries, and API development.
• Experience with production operations, testing, code review, deployment, and incident response.
• Knowledge of security, access controls, segregation of duties, and auditability in energy trading.
• Experience integrating language models with enterprise data and tools, including access controls and monitoring.
• Experience using AI coding assistants effectively, including validating logic and testing changes.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain core systems: develop ETRM components, libraries, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Guide platform architecture with patterns that balance usability and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain patterns to connect language models to internal data and tools with proper controls.
• Maintain engineering quality with code reviews, tests, and documentation.
• Own production reliability: incident response, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
• Protect data and systems with access controls and change management.
• Ensure reporting integrity for trading, risk, and finance.
• Collaborate with IT: define cloud and infra requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to traders, analysts, and developers.
