  • Partner with IT: Define cloud and infrastructure requirements, including compute, storage, networking, and deployment needs.
  • Enable users: Provide technical guidance, documentation, and hands-on support to traders, analysts, and developers.
Required Education/Skills/Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on ownership of production data platforms or trading systems.
  • Strong Python skills, including time-series processing, dataframe libraries, columnar storage, data modeling, and API development.
  • Experience with production operations, testing, code review, deployment, and incident response.
  • Working knowledge of security, access controls, segregation of duties, and auditability in an energy trading environment.
  • Experience integrating language models with enterprise data and tools, including access controls, workflow orchestration, and production monitoring.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants effectively, including reviewing generated code, validating business logic, and testing changes before production deployment.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Strong ownership, sound judgment, and comfort working independently in a lean front-office team.
  • Preferred: Experience with US power markets, energy trading products, building infrastructure for AI applications and agents, quantitative analytics, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and AWS EKS.
