Job summary

Docusign is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to steer the analytical strategy for the Intelligent Agreement Manager (IAM) and Agentic AI features. You will bridge Product and Engineering, shape telemetry architecture, and drive data-informed product lifecycle decisions.

This role reports to the Vice President, Operations & Analysis and requires senior-level expertise in SaaS data science, experimentation, and cross-functional leadership. Hybrid work with in-office presence is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in product analytics or data science in SaaS/Cloud.
• Experience mapping holistic user journeys and multi-product funnels.
• Translate product goals into telemetry requirements with Engineering.
• SQL proficiency and automated dashboards in Tableau/Power BI/HEX.
• Statistical analysis, experimental design and data modeling.
• Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME translating business goals into data requirements for Engineering.
• Oversee scalable data pipelines and architectural integrity.
• Define product telemetry strategy with high-fidelity data collection.
• Identify cross-product adoption signals and recommend roadmaps.
• Design rigorous experiments beyond basic A/B testing.
• Develop automated dashboards for business user interpretation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Research on high-impact data opportunities.
• Present findings to stakeholders and influence strategy.
• Resolve data roadblocks and align data initiatives with objectives.
