Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own demand forecasting for a subset of the GBSG demand planning portfolio.

You will model, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy across pre-season, in-season, and off-season horizons, translating results into actionable recommendations for senior leaders. You will partner with Finance, Capacity Planning, Marketing, and Product to ensure forecasts guide capacity, service levels, and expenses, while advancing methodology with time-series and ML

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science or quantitative analytics focused on forecasting or time-series.
• Strong Python and SQL skills across large data environments.
• Experience building forecasting models in production and communicating results to leadership.
• Ability to break down problems and form evidence-based hypotheses.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end demand forecasting across the portfolio.
• Develop and validate time-series and ML models for forecast accuracy.
• Translate model results into clear recommendations for executives.
• Partner with Finance, Capacity Planning, and Marketing to reflect strategy in forecasts.
• Build dashboards and data products to surface trends and risks.
