Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Manager Data Engineering/Data Architect to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and analytics capabilities. You will lead cross‑functional teams, translate client requirements, and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions that drive business value.

You will mentor staff, drive large‑scale data modernization, and implement batch/streaming pipelines across cloud platforms with a focus on AI-ready data foundations and observability.

Qualifications

• End-to-end data pipeline experience in production environments.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud data platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on Databricks experience including Delta Lake or lakehouse patterns.
• Strong Python skills for data engineering and AI workflows.
• Experience with columnar databases and NoSQL systems (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Proficiency in data modeling, warehouse design, and modern lakehouse/data mesh concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, release management, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize data platforms for scalable analytics.
• Lead large-scale data systems and modernization initiatives.
• Develop batch and streaming pipelines across cloud data platforms.
• Support AI-enabled engineering use cases and data foundations.
• Define telemetry and observability for data platforms and AI services.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to delivery.
