Job summary

Publicis Sapient seeks a Senior Manager Data Engineering to architect and implement scalable data platforms, enabling data-driven decisions across client engagements. You will lead cross-functional teams, design end-to-end pipelines, and drive modernization of data systems with batch and streaming capabilities.

You will combine cloud expertise, Python tooling, and AI-driven data foundations to deliver value, optimize performance, and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• End-to-end data pipelines and production-grade data platforms.
• Hands-on with public cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Databricks experience including notebooks and Delta Lake.
• Strong Python for data engineering and automation.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and lakehouse patterns.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and AI/ML deployment support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large-scale data systems and modernization initiatives.
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Design data foundations to support AI-enabled services and retrieval patterns.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute hands-on to delivery.
• Ensure observability, reliability, and post-production operations.
