Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Trainer for Data Center to partner with Data Center and Critical Environment teams, designing and delivering training for technicians on low‑voltage cabling and safety in live data center environments.

The role, within Talent, Learning & Development, supports standardization of technical content and ensures alignment with industry standards, with opportunities to influence training governance and outcomes across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-8 years of hands‑on experience with low‑voltage electrical and structured cabling work, including cable pulling/routing, termination, splicing, and patching.
• Direct experience in data center or mission‑critical environments preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical training programs for data center technicians with emphasis on low‑voltage and structured cabling systems.
• Develop instructor‑led content, job aids, simulations, assessments, SOPs, and digital modules.
• Translate field processes into clear, repeatable training content and ensure alignment with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSImethodology).
• Create evaluations and measurement tools to assess technician readiness and training effectiveness.
• Audit learning programs and optimize delivery methods to improve knowledge transfer across regions.
