Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deploy scalable training for Data Center technicians and low‑voltage professionals. You will translate field processes into clear training content and ensure alignment with industry standards such as TIA/EIA and security practices.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on low‑voltage cabling experience, strong instructional design skills, and proficiency with PowerPoint and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience with low‑voltage electrical and structured cabling work, including: cable pulling and routing; termination, splicing, and patching; testing and troubleshooting copper and/or fiber cabling.
• Direct experience working in data center or mission‑critical environments strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technical training programs for data center technicians, focusing on low‑voltage and structured cabling systems.
• Teach low‑voltage electrical fundamentals (copper and fiber) and cabling best practices.
• Develop training assets including instructor‑led content, simulations, assessments, and SOPs.
• Create evaluations and measurement tools to assess technician readiness and training effectiveness.
• Ensure content aligns with industry standards and client requirements.
