Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Technical Trainer for Data Center environments to design, develop, and deliver scalable training for data center technicians and low-voltage professionals. You will partner with data center and critical environment teams to translate complex technical processes into clear, repeatable content.

The role emphasizes hands-on cabling methodologies, safety in live data center environments, and ongoing assessment of learner progress, with collaboration across SMEs and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience with low-voltage electrical and structured cabling work, including cable pulling, termination, splicing, and patching.
• Direct experience in data center or mission-critical environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, high‑impact technical training for data center technicians and low‑voltage professionals.
• Develop instructor-led content, job aids, simulations, assessments, SOPs, and digital modules.
• Validate technical accuracy with SMEs, field leadership, and operations teams.
• Assess technician readiness, provide remediation and coaching, and develop training reports.
• Audit and optimize training programs across regions for consistency and quality.
