Job summary

CBRE seeks a Technical Trainer Data Center to design, develop, and deliver scalable training for data center technicians and low‑voltage professionals. You will enable safe, repeatable work in live environments and partner with Data Center teams to ensure technical accuracy and practical relevance.

Within CBRE’s Talent, Learning & Development function, you will align content with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and hands-on practices, measure impact, and continuously improve learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience with low-voltage electrical and structured cabling work, including cable pulling, routing, termination, splicing, and testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word and ability to translate technical concepts into training.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technical training for data center technicians and low-voltage professionals.
• Facilitate training programs and support onboarding with emphasis on structured cabling and safety.
• Create instructor-led content, job aids, simulations, assessments, SOPs, and digital modules.
• Validate training materials with SMEs and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Develop evaluations and measurement tools to assess readiness and training effectiveness.
