Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Data Center Manager to oversee onsite DCT personnel, monitor infrastructure, and coordinate maintenance and security across facilities. The role requires strong leadership, vendor coordination, and a focus on efficiency and safety.

The candidate will drive preventative maintenance programs, manage 24x7 schedules, and ensure high availability of data center operations while maintaining excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years data center experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Ability to train DCTs and foster team development.
• Experience coordinating with maintenance, contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day duties of onsite DCT personnel across one or multiple sites.
• Monitor infrastructure on site and escalate as needed to various departments.
• Develop and monitor preventative maintenance programs with the Maintenance team.
• Ensure site cleanliness and safe working conditions.
• Plan schedules for 24x7x365 coverage and on-call roster.
• Oversee contractors and ensure workmanship and safety standards.
• Maintain relationships with customers/clients at facilities.
• Optimize equipment needs to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor PUE via BMS system to ensure facility efficiency.
• Coordinate infrastructure-related construction with internal teams and local contractors.
• Ensure security policies are followed; manage on-site emergency responses.
• Train DCTs on BMS functionality and incident response.
• Handle purchasing of consumables and equipment for facilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
