Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician to lead the data center operations, oversee both critical and non-critical infrastructure, and mentor junior technicians. You will drive reliability, safety, and adherence to company standards while managing CMMS and daily activities with a hands-on approach.

The role emphasizes ownership, ongoing learning, and a commitment to operational excellence within a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Prior military or technical school training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in mission critical environments preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems.
• Lead the CFM/ACFM to deliver total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing risks.
• Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within the data halls.
• Provide technical leadership in mechanical and electrical support systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Train and develop junior technicians and utilize CMMS for work orders.
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections and scheduling of corrective actions.

Education

High school degree, required

Prior military or technical school training, preferred

3+ years experience in Mission Critical Environments, preferred

Electrical or mechanical licensure, preferred
