Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician to lead data center operations and elevate reliability and safety across critical and non-critical infrastructure. The role combines hands-on maintenance with mentoring of junior technicians to uphold best practices and 100% uptime.

The Sr. CFT will participate in CMMS-based work management, supervise in the absence of CFM/ACFM, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with company standards and training programs.

Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Prior military or technical school training preferred.
• 3+ years experience in Mission Critical Environments preferred.
• Electrical or mechanical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems.
• Assist the CFM/ACFM to lead the CFT team to deliver total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing risks.
• Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within the data halls.
• Provide training and expertise for using CMMS to manage all planned and unplanned data center work.
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections on data center electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical and mechanical corrective issues to minimize risk.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues, escalating as appropriate, and ensure complete issue resolution.
• Participate in facility training programs by contributing to content/expertise on a regular basis.
