Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years electrical or mechanical experience.
• 3+ years data center or mission-critical facilities experience.
• Technical training or degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years data center engineering experience.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for facilities-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians.
• Create and deploy new standard practices for engineering teams.
• May assist in build out of new facilities.
• Work outside normal hours for maintenance as required.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audience.
• Coordinate projects with IT managers and business leaders.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by vendors and staff.
• Establish building performance benchmarks and report on operations.
• Utilize MS Excel, Word, Outlook for day-to-day tasks.
