Upchurch Industrial LLC in Mississippi is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations on mission-critical data center projects. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule performance while coordinating with project teams, owners, and subcontractors.

This senior role requires 10+ years in commercial/industrial construction, with 5+ years as a Superintendent, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of commercial or industrial construction experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or General Superintendent.
• Experience delivering mission-critical, data center, industrial, semiconductor, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all field operations on data center projects.
• Mentor Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel.
• Develop and implement construction execution plans aligned with schedules.
• Coordinate field operations with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, and Trade Partners.
• Lead planning meetings to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Drive schedule performance by identifying critical path activities and recovery plans.
• Ensure resources are planned and allocated across all project phases.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity, and quality.
• Promote a culture of safety per OSHA and client requirements.
• Prepare and present project updates to leadership.
