This senior role requires 10+ years in commercial/industrial construction, with 5+ years as a Superintendent, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Primavera P6.

The General Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field operations on large-scale data center construction projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. This role provides strategic leadership to Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel while partnering closely with Project Management to deliver successful mission-critical facilities. The General Superintendent serves as the primary field leader, driving construction execution, workforce planning, quality control, and client satisfaction from project startup through final turnover.
Provide overall leadership and direction for all field operations on assigned data center construction projects.
Manage and mentor Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel to ensure safe and productive project execution.
Develop and implement overall construction execution plans aligned with project schedules and milestones.
Coordinate field operations with Project Managers, Engineers, Owners, Design Teams, and Trade Partners.
Lead daily, weekly, and milestone planning meetings to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Drive project schedule performance by identifying critical path activities, mitigating delays, and implementing recovery plans when necessary.
Ensure manpower, equipment, and material resources are properly planned and allocated across all project phases.
Oversee subcontractor performance, productivity, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific safety requirements.
Conduct regular site walks to monitor construction progress, identify risks, and resolve field issues.
Ensure all work meets project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and owner expectations.
Collaborate with project management to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and schedule commitments.
Review and interpret construction drawings, BIM coordination models, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.
Support procurement efforts by coordinating long‑lead materials and equipment with project teams.
Oversee commissioning readiness, punch list completion, turnover, and project closeout activities.
Maintain positive working relationships with clients, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
Prepare and present project updates to executive leadership and ownership teams.
