The Weitz Company in Des Moines, IA seeks an experienced Senior Project Superintendent to lead data center projects in the Iowa region. You will oversee field operations, manage safety culture, and partner with the Project Manager to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of GC supervision, data center experience, and strong leadership with a track record of mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Superintendent experience.
• GC experience required.
• Data Center construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontractors and field teams on site.
• Maintain site safety per policy.
• Develop and update project schedule and resources.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Oversee daily construction activities to meet quality, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage performance.
• Conduct site inspections and address quality issues.
• Maintain accurate cost reporting and paperwork.
