Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Executive to lead data center projects in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, IA. This role oversees construction operations and provides leadership to project teams, with a focus on achieving schedule and budget success.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of project management with senior leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field; data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of project management experience with Senior Manager, Project Executive, or Director titles.
• Data center project experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required; related experience can substitute.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for large-scale construction projects.
• Manage project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to senior management, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor construction through on-site leadership to ensure schedule and budget adherence; implement corrective actions.
