Humana seeks a Lead Data Architect to transform how data is designed, stored, and governed across environments. You will develop blueprints for repositories, evaluate platforms, and translate business needs into scalable data architecture solutions.

You will report to the Principal Solutions Architect and support corporate services departments. You should be located within 50 miles of Humana hub sites for occasional in-office meetings, with responsibilities spanning data modeling, cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field.
• 5+ years of data architecture/engineering experience.
• Proficient in data modeling, database systems, and data integration.
• Experience with operational data integration.
• Contribute to data governance standards.
• Experience with big data integration and analytics.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of data architecture experience preferred.
• Experience designing data pipelines and cloud platforms.
• SaaS data architecture experience.
• Experience with AI frameworks and modern data integration in corporate services departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop blueprints for data repositories and metadata repositories.
• Evaluate hardware and software platforms for data use.
• Translate business needs into long-term data architecture solutions.
• Define and create dimensional database schemas.
• Review data models and metadata to improve data management.
• Advise executives on functional data strategies.
