Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Data Architect to design and govern data architectures across environments, translating business needs into scalable solutions. The role reports to the Principal Solutions Architect and supports Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance, or Legal.

Expect oversight of data repositories, metadata, and data governance to enable faster, cleaner analytics. Located within 50 miles of Humana hub sites for occasional in-office meetings, with a compensation focus on robust base pay and bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of data architecture/engineering experience.
• Proficient in Data Modeling, Database Systems, and Data Integration.
• Experience with operational data integration.
• Contribute to Data Governance standards.
• Experience with big data integration and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop blueprints for all data repositories and integrate systems.
• Evaluate hardware and software platforms for data architecture solutions.
• Translate business needs into long-term data architecture plans.
• Define, create and optimize dimensional database schemas.
• Assess reusability of data for analyses and perform data cleansing.
