Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Data Architect to shape data strategy across environments and design scalable data repositories. You will translate business needs into durable architecture, define dimensional schemas, and guide data governance.

You will report to the Principal Solutions Architect and collaborate with Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance, or Legal, with occasional office meetings within 50 miles at Hub sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of data architecture/engineering experience.
• Proficient in Data Modeling, Database Systems, and Data Integration.
• Experience with operational data integration.
• Contribute to the Data Governance standards.
• Experience with big data integration and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop blueprints for all data repositories.
• Evaluate hardware and software platforms.
• Translate business needs into long-term data architecture solutions.
• Define dimensional database schemas.
• Review data models and the metadata repository to improve data management.
• Advise executives to develop functional data strategies.
