Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead Data Architect to design and oversee enterprise data architecture across multiple environments. The role focuses on transforming how data is modeled, stored, and accessed, aligning with business strategies and governance standards.

You will report to the Principal Solutions Architect and collaborate with Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance, or Legal to drive data initiatives. Occasional on-site meetings are expected at Humana hub locations within 50 miles of major sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of data architecture/engineering experience.
• Proficiency in data modeling, databases, and data integration.
• Experience with operational data integration.
• Experience with big data integration and analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop blueprints for all data repositories and data models.
• Evaluate hardware and software platforms and integrate systems.
• Translate business needs into long-term data architecture solutions.
• Define and create dimensional database schemas and coordinate data governance.
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.
